Studio Workshops

Custom Workshops for Small Groups

Sometimes it's hard to get the training you need when you live outside of the larger metro areas. That's because most workshops don't make it to the smaller cities. That's why Mark create Studio Workshops. With these custom workshops you don't have to travel outside your area because Mark comes to you to teach you about the latest workflow techniques with Lightroom and/or Photoshop. You can choose one of the workshops Mark typically teaches from the Workshops and Classes page, or ask for a specific topic. Mark creates the workshop to suit your needs and the needs of other photographers in your area and then brings it to you.

Here's how it works:

  • A studio in your area volunteers to host the one-day event. (Note: the event doesn't have to be in a studio. A local community center works well too.)

  • The host of the event gets in for free and receives an autographed copy of one of Mark's books.

  • The host promotes the event to local photographers, but doesn't have to collect any money. We'll take care of that with a link on this website. We'll also list the event online to help promote it.

  • Studio Workshops are limited to 8 - 12 photographers, including the host.

  • Attendees are encouraged to bring laptops with the necessary software when applicable. (Trial versions of software will be available for those who don't have it.)

  • Workshops are typically 6 hours (9 - 4 with a break for lunch), though they can be longer depending on the subject matter being covered.

  • Cost is $149 per photographer for the day.

If your interested in hosting one of these events in your area, contact Mark so he can help you get it set up and scheduled.
